Shop Hartlepool

Introducing Shop Hartlepool, a proud new initiative brought to you in partnership with Love Hartlepool and Hartlepool Borough Council, which is providing funding received from the Government’s Reopening the High Street Safely Fund (RHSSF) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). Shop Hartlepool is helping shoppers and businesses return to normal and prosper after the pandemic and beyond.

Love Hartlepool are delighted to share Shop Hartlepool, a leading platform to showcase Hartlepool businesses of all shapes and sizes. Love Hartlepool’s dedicated volunteers have not only shared their retail expertise but have also, as representatives of the business community in Hartlepool, helped to shape the platform and the campaign.

In the few short weeks since the Shop Hartlepool website went live, we have had a fantastic response from local businesses, with over 130 Hartlepool-based businesses now signed up. We’ve been so excited to see businesses we already know and love alongside so many new or hidden gems joining the Shop Hartlepool community. And that’s our aim, to make Shop Hartlepool into a community for local businesses to support each other and share their love for Hartlepool, as well as being a resource for Hartlepool residents and visitors from outside of the area to discover more about the amazing local businesses we have on offer.

The Shop Hartlepool site includes business contact information, along with opening hours, COVID measures, images and a new feature, 360 degree videos from inside the businesses to let you look around before you even head out the door. You can search for a business you know or by category (eg Home, Beauty, Craft & Creative etc), location and even what COVID procedures are in place.

As well as the new 360 degree video feature, the Shop Hartlepool blog will soon be up and running, further promoting local businesses and giving Hartlepool residents a peek behind the scenes as well as introducing the people behind the businesses.
